I built a basking spot for my turtle out of old roofing slates and have LOTS left over. I'll sell or (preferably) trade any of the following:
- fully assembled structure according to your specs (assembled with GE Silicone I - 100% silicone)
- pieces cut to your specs, ready for assembly
- roofing slates as-is

I will hammer all the edges to make sure they aren't sharp.
Full-size pieces are 10"x16" and weigh about 3lbs each. They will not fit in any of the flat-rate Priority boxes, so it has to be shipped by weight. If you don't need full-size pieces, a flat-rate box could work. I have lots of smaller pieces.

Regular Flat-Rate Box 1 - $10.35
11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"

If you just want roofing slates as-is, I'd recommend you try your local Freecycle or Craigslist first because shipping is going to be a bit pricey. If you can't find any or don't want to do that, I'm happy to help and I'm not trying to make a bunch of money off this. I'll just need to cover shipping, packing materials, and a bit of my time to get everything boxed up and sent.
Trades that interest me:
river rock, low-light plants, shrimp (prefer "wild type," not bright colors), small fish (no guppies), equipment (filter media, pumps, heaters, tanks... hey, you never know), something else...???
I'd also be happy to combine a slate trade with an omnivore jello trade.
