Does anyone have any experience or information breeding dwarf Cajun Crayfish? I have a population of 10 or so in my 75 gallon community tank, and I would have expected to see a berried female by now, but I have not. They have been in there since November, and I haven't seen a single berried female. Are they seasonal breeders? Someone told me the only live about a year, so I'd like to breed them as soon as possible before they start to die off. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

That seems rather strange, they should breed readily. You don't have ten of the same sex do you..?

I haven't actually sexed any of them, but it seems very unlikely given the numbers. It's been a while since I've sexed a crayfish, and I've never worked with the dwarfs before. What should I look for?

They may still be immature, or just needing to molt. Crayfish have 2 different "phases", one where they can reproduce and the other where they can't, and they alternate between the 2 with each molt.
