worried about my snail!!!! plz help!

my snail is floating?

normal?

not?

i tried to turn him upside down...to see if he got a air bubble fomr the bubble bar but no air came out?? i held him and he acts fine but hes not sinking ??


i thought he was suppost to sink!
 
my snails do this from time to time...

no cause for concern unless they start stinking
 
um....should i smell him?? whats a snail smell like anyways??? (ponders to myself)
 
at least someone else s snail does it too...why do they do it? how is more like it?
 
i know hes not dead....hes moving....ive held him but thanks for telling me its normal!
 
yep.. totally normal

I dont honestly know why they do that... but they do-- and if hes moving he is fine for sure

and when I say do the smell test... there isnt really anything to be "looking for" necessarily... you WILL KNOW if hes dead lol

Dead? Something worse than a garbage can.

They float. It is natural unless the body is limping while it is floating which would indicate something may be wrong here.
