Okay, not really "summer", but it is such a pain to take care of all of the super fine, soft hair!! And she inherited the pomeranians shedding!

Thought I'd share, since I just went through about 2 hours of grooming her little butt! I have a neck-ache and a half, as well as severe itchiness!

Tink trying to goad me into playing with her, since I hadn't paid her much attention while stripping Sparkles.

She got the guilty look after she barked because I shooshed her, people sleeping.

Poor baby. I have a Shih Tzu and just when her coat is starting to look good I shave her for the summer. We are always amazed at how little she is!

I've always wondered what my chinchilla would look like if we shaved her......
Poor thing looks miserable after the haircut, must have lost a few pounds. Tic=nk is such a goof!

I think I liked her with the long hair but I know that can be a chore to keep after...

Thank you.
It takes a good hour to blow dry her, which she hates, so it saves us both stress when she has short hair.

She has a new little boyfriend next door, he's the funniest pekingese I have ever seen... He wants nothing more than to zoom around and play and she is much too dignified for that... When I'm looking.
LOL

Recent pic of her making funny faces at me for petting Dutch:
