I just bought a used acrylic tank it was very dirty after a few hours of cleaning i found some scratches not bad just annoying. is there any way to buff them out or do i just deal with it ?
 
they can be buffed out. or fill the tank and see if you can still see them

I dont know if they have this in your area, but there is a store called Taps Plastics where i Live. I just bought a couple of pads of sanding paper(400,1000, 2500, 5000, 7500, 12,000 Grit), sanded it all down very evenly(even the unscrathed parts) and used a polishing compouned from NOVA thay they sold. ctystal clear and it took out scratched up to .064" deep. lots of work though, see if water works first :)
