Nice fishies!!!
Thank you, Chinese Joe was a, need something to eat this stuff, purchase. I actually had two and them; read that two can't exist in the same tank of my size. So, I gave the other one to a friend.
Spike Man, he was a well thought out purchase I kept going back to the LFS and never saw one that I liked. They are a little more expensive than I thought, but a very nice addition to the tank.

They can get to be an impressive size (Around ten inches, but I've seen most top out at 5 or 6") and stop eating algae as they get older.
He was a lot smaller, and now he seems to be just eating the stuff that I feed. Spike Man is the one that is an active eater.

chinese algae eaters can turn into real jerks. i have a big guy (over 5") in a 75 gallon with my 11" gibby pleco and an indo dat. there were convicts in there before the dat and the convicts and my cae would FIGHT.

CAEs are well known for an absolutely ghastly temper when they reach adult size. Assumedly, if you have only slim-bodied, fast-moving fish, you can keep CAEs with them. But these guys are not the kind of fish anyone should be keeping in an average aquarium.
