I finally did it, I switched out most of my mixed zebra types and got a small group of cyno. white top haras. I got 7 juvies plus one of the females was holding so I got 6 babies from her. I got to see the parents and I'm really excited. I've attached some pictures, (not mine of course). These are pictures of what they will look like when adults. Right now the group is settling in nicely and hopefully soon will start coloring up a bit. The first is a male and the second is a female.
I have to say after removing my red and cobalt zebra the whole tank seems way more comfortable. My synos are coming out more and my acei are swimming around way more instead of always staying around the top.
I kept my OB zebras and added a couple more to boost the number up to 5. I also kept one of my female ice blue zebras (Beatrice). She has so much personality and has thrived in my tank since I got her, I couldn't bring myself to trade her in at the pet store. Plus she refuses to breed with anything and chases all males away(of any species, even her own) when she spawns.
I hope to get some pictures of the new set up (I added some more rock) and my new fish this evening since it's better to take pictures in the dark.
