A few weeks ago I got a bunch of free plants and shrimp from somebody on craigslist. There is a large anubias. It is in pretty bad shape. I pulled off all of the dead leaves. There are still seveal leaves left, but they are full of holes. How long dies it take for new leaves to grow? Should I just toss it?

Depending on your light and nutrients... once the plant is accustomed to the tank (not moved) it should give off a new leaf atleast within 3-4 weeks time (this is for avrg conditions)
You can break off the really damaged leaves so they dont consume the energy of the plant.
