I have a pretty new 5 gallon tank. It's planted so I planted all my plants and what not then moved over my established filter to help it cycle. Soon after I moved my ramshorns and mystery snail and some fry. Within a day my snails are acting odd. Usually they are cruising around all the time but now they are just staying in one spot and my mystery snail is closed up really tight. The fish are acting completely normal. I checked parameters and came back with 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and 10 nitrate. The temperature is a constant 75 degrees just like their other tank. I put in an algae wafer and they haven't touched it, they usually go nuts for food. I did a water change but I'm at a loss.

Maybe the move stressed them a little? How many days has it been? I have heard of snails taking a few days to recover from a move but can't speak from personal experience. Any snails I've gotten have adjusted right away to their new homes. Hopefully someone will come along with some better answers/suggestions.

Well I have given them a bit of time and the ramshorn snails are now cruising but my mystery snail doesn't seem to be fairing well. I see him moving around some but mostly he stays in his shell or floats around peaking out. I put some lettuce in but they haven't touched it (which is odd). I saw the ramshorns eating an algae wafer though.
The fish are still good and so are my parameters. I wondered if it could be my lighting. The light in my old tank wasn't very bright but the new one is brighter.
