woodpeckers are cute!
I had one. lol. My cat dragged it in when it was a baby... and I felt bad for it, thought it was gonna die, so I was determined to give it the best until it did. Ended up living for 6 years. His name was Tetris and he was a Ladderback woodpecker, and was my baby :)

that's so cool Goldie.... well not that he got hurt but cool that you had him up close...
Blue, I remember having the woodpecker at my old house and he took a liking to trying to peck a hole in my gutter.... never knew those suckers were so loud LOL

ever seen the peliated? those things are wicked big! I remember we had a nesting pair on our property when I was little, they were so cool to watch.
