I set up my 2.5 gallon yesterday. Nothing is in it except Flourite substrate. I am getting some Riccia Fluitans soon and plan on covering the whole bottom with that first to see how I like it. Then, I have no idea what I want to put in the tank except for some shrimp.
So far:

Satellite 12" 18W Lighting Fixture(10000k)
Small powerhead filter
Hydor 7.5 watts heater
I won't have to add CO2. Instead, I will just dose using what I already have using Excel.
