My little pink brig and zebra and redspot nerites from MsJ are here!! :woot: Baby brig came out pretty much right away, while I was doing the acclimating. And the nerites weren't more than about 5 to 10 minutes later to come out and have a look around.

Look! These are the cutest little tiniest fishy bags EVER! :lol2:

Awww! Baby brig!

I like how this came out so much that I have a larger version of it (1280x800) as my new desktop! It took over from a great shot of my glass cats. Uh oh... the snails are starting to take over EVERYTHING!!! :hypnotized:

Brigsby and the nerites in their acclimation container together...

Clear container... white sheet of paper underneath for contrast... and a bounce flash aimed not quite at the subject... I'll need to remember this combo for the future...

Baby Brigsby says, "You're in my way! So I'm just gonna go right on over you!!"

I'll let the kids settle into their respective tanks and shoot some more photos later. Right now I have to go check the snail food recipes thread and make a shopping list for later!

Thanks, Rachel!! They're great! I can't believe how much I'm liking snails. Of all things. But don't believe for a minute that I'm going to stop my efforts to reduce, or eliminate, the ramshorn and bladder snail explosion in my Amazon tank! :evil_lol: hmmm... anyone needing some pond snails? ;)

Yup, they did good on their journey. They are all moving all over their tanks. Every time I go to check on them (which, I'll admit, is about every two or three minutes!! :screwy: *blush* ), they're someplace completely different from where they were last time. So they are doing VERY well. I can't wait for my daughter to get home, 'cuz she is just going to go wild over them! She'd been plucking out some of my pest snails and trying to keep them in a container in her room, but wasn't having much luck. So she'll really like these. And SO will not be allowed to take them upstairs to try to keep alive on her own!! :lol2:

Thanks!! I'm using a Canon DSLR EOS Rebel XTi, with an adjustable bounce flash. I've only had it since early February, and I've taken over 3500 photos with it already!! Most of the early ones aren't fit for viewing, though. :grinno: :lol2:

I spent YEARS wanting this camera. When I got my fed refund this year, I just couldn't not do it... again. Now if I could afford a couple more lenses, I'd be all set!

Those snails look GREAT!
Yup! And it's all Jinks' fault! She does a great job with the getting them and making sure they're all healthy, and breeding the brigs, so the rest of us can bask in the glow of a beautiful creature!
