Sometimes the only way to learn is by experimenting with new products of course this can also backfire!

Recently, I decided to try New Improved Cycle. Now, Marineland’s Bio-Spira claims you can add fishes immediately after you dose tank. Unfortunately, Nutrafin/Hagen doesn’t give you a clue as to when you may safely add fishes

Does anyone here have any experience with NIC? What were your results?

There's alot of posts regarding Cycle vs Bio Spira if you search the archives. I get the feeling that the members on this board prefer Bio Spira.

I personally have used Bio Spira to cycle my tanks and have had great success. It's a little pricey and hard to come by for some, but well worth it.

I have never had a death by using it. Although you do need to keep an eye on your water parameters after using it.
