After years of dedicated and hard work my 11 y/o Alexandra has come one step closer to her Jr. Black Belt. We're very proud! I just had to share and show a couple pics.

Yes, I am VERY proud! She works very hard.
They start sparring in this form as gold belts, so she's been sparring for over 2 years. She was actually on a pro team last year and competed throughout the northeast, she came in 2nd for the NY state in her age in class for sparring and kata, 1st in weapons for the Bo.
Congrats to your daughter...Back when i used to teach, i really enjoyed presenting students with thier well earned belts...Well done !!

Congratulations!. My wife took my 6 year old to watch classes for the first time today and she came home wondering why anyone would want to fight, but said she wants to join in. I'll show her your daughter's pictures. I'm sure that'll give her a thrill.

It is great - the confidence and discipline that she's learned is amazing.
Oh, please show her. I cannot say enough for the art - it has been an amazing experience for her (and her twin little brother started at age 4 and the growth in them has been amazing too).
