Hey anyone know a way to control my frogbit, it wont stop growing, i bought 5 small plants, 2 months ago, and my entire 55g is filled along with a 10 gallon and a 5 gallon. =/ Driving me crazy! I would hate to throw away perfectly healthy plants. And selling them doesn't seem very fun.

Just scoop them out and throw them away.. give them away.. or sell them. We all have the same problem, but you get used to it.

I'd take some off of your hands, but you're likely out of state for me. I'd rather have frogbit than duckweed. Duckweed just makes a mess. -_-

If you don't like to "waste" it, you can use the extra as mulch for your garden or give it away to someone who has a turtle or a koi or some other frogbit eating critter.

Ohh, wish I had some. Finally figured out a way to calm the current at the top of my tank (created a divider with plastic canvas) and now I might be able to actually keep some floaters. Lost all my frogbit and most of my duckweed to the filters.

sadly my frogbit dies off in my tanks, everything else does great!! ???
just lucky I guess, of course the duckweed is the worst, thats my problem plant.
