My local Fish store recommended a product called instant amazon for my 55 planted discus tank. Any Experiences or comments?Similar products etc.? Thanks.

i used to use a similar product called Kent blackwater extract for my apisto's. Stained the water nicely and brought out great colours in my fish. Wouldn't lower my ph though, so i now use peat filtration.

I'm using peet pellets in my fluval and some bog wood but my ph could get lower it's at 6.6. I think I'll try it unless anybody else has some bad info in the next couple days. Thanks
