I have a 55 gallon with live rock about 55 pounds. I have 2 clownfish, 10 hermit crabs, a red scooter blenny, a red flamehawk, a naso tang, and a saddle puffer, Could i add a lionfish? What are your thoughts?

You are already way over stocked.

I have to agree with the others I'm afraid. Also, a Naso tang should not be kept in anything less than 150gals IMO.

Agreed - the Naso will outgrow the 55 in no time....

I find myself agreeing with the others... The tang really needs a much larger tank than a 55g, even if it's still relatively small.

A lionfish might make dinner out of some of your other fish, depending on the size of everyone. The clowns and scooter blenny (hope you have lots of pods for it to eat, or have one that eats prepared foods) would be the fish I'd be most concerned about.

Nobody mentioned of getting rid of all the other fish and put the Lion in there..!

He could do that couldn't he??? (im no fish guy just asking)

just feed the lionfish all the stuff in your tank, overstock issue solved!
