Probably. I actually have 14 adults, 4 long fin, 10 short fin. My plan was to keep 1 pair (long fin with short fin) and sell the rest of the adults, hopefully in male / female pairs.

Honestly, the adults are only about 2.5 inches, I thought that they were too small to breed, so I threw them in my big tank to grow out. Little did I know....

Anyhow, I still don't know which female is the breeder, I only know which male it is since he guards the eggs.

You know you are doing something right when they breed for you that way, water must be good conditions right. Great job!
Love the look of these guys! How do they do in a heavily planted tank? What about with small shrimp? Just curious might want one....they look so cute!!!

They are doing fine. They love zuchinni and flake food. It looks like some are going to be long fins, but it is tough to tell since they are still small.
