So, I moved one of my tanks from the basement yesterday to the kitchen. All was good until I discovered my python does not fit the faucet (and the bathroom faucet was literally 6" too far away). Filling with a 3 gallon bucket is no fun!!

As far as I know I have all the pieces that came with my python, and none fit on the faucet. Are there any adapters available? The faucet has it's own thread, so I need something that will attach to it. The plastic piece of the python is too large, so I need some kind of reducer? Any idea's? I have a week until water change day and hope to get something before then!!

Thanks.

Unscrew the aerator off the faucet and grab the adapter for the python. Bring them both to your local plumbing supply store. They'll find the pieces you need. I wouldn't go to home depot or lowes becasue they may not have the right pieces, look for a professional plumbing supply.

I agree.. tho they probably have the right part at HD or Lowes. the issue is finding someone who knows where they are.
