AC PC Gamers Idea

First I think this may be possible idea if I have enough replies.
Renting our own COD5 server or if some of you prefer cod4 ..

Just an idea is all... So what gaames do you play often and do you like the idea of having our own server rented if we lets say donate to AC and have AC run it? (this will take AC staff to want this idea to though).

Anyway my list of games:
Pay to play:no server rental needed just join same server is all.

Warhammer Online
FFXI online

Free to play:We can rent our own servers with member priority access slots but be public server and promote this site.
Call of Duty 4: modern warfare
Call of Duty : World at War (ww2 theme)
Left4dead: Resident evil co-op type game


I saw a thread talking about 360 xbox users..I figure I ask about you PC gamers out there. The bonus is built in voip so we could chat fish as we blast face =p in those call of duty games.

Anyway... just an idea to see if it gets any traction...

PS we dont have to make this a AC themed thing either..even just few of us getting together to rent our own server would work...
Using Guild Portal site to create a free gamer website to support the server would work to and we can load screen shots on it (of corals! and fish! =p ) ...

Run with the ideas if you want...dont have to stay on this topic...

Yah reason i mentioned its only an idea...with enough traction or interest it could happen..and yes we could rent our own and still have it focused on this community.


Like having the server named FishTankFraggers and AC members would wear the tag FTF by there game names....

rented servers can have reserved slots for members profiles...so if lets say we get a 32 slot server and have 12 AC members playing ...12 slots would be priority for AC members...even if server is full if you joined it...it would auto kick newest public joiner to server and replace them with you the reserved member.

This is something I have not managed only joined a Cod4 pc server that was that organized and did competitions. I figure if we had more interest and more gamers here for this..we may find someone who can manage the servers... this is a slim to none chance but hey its an idea is all.

Worst case scenario I may just rent my own server depending on situation here in a month.. and post about it later and gather all AC members interesed in being members of the server ...with donation comes admin powers to kick and ban annoying people.

For now this is only an idea...no commitment to this yet...
