(EDITED for Typos)
So my tank is finally cycled! :D
I used this product called "Cycle" that i found at PetSmart.. cost me 7 bucks. Anyways, all my readings are good.. 0 ammonia, 0 Nitrite, Nitrate<20... so i think after a small wc, il be good to go :)
Anyways, I will be ordering plants online within the next week or so.. And Id also like to get some ideas on the kind of bottom dwellers i can add to my 10 g tank..
Id prefer a nice small fish that will "clean" the bottom, and just look nice and be rather/somewhat active..
ideas welcome!!! :D

do you have nitrITE and nitrATE backwords? ITE should be 0 and ATE <40
If you have them right, it still needs to cycle

Hi there!
Are you sure that the nitrite is <20? It should be at zero for the tank to be cycled. Most likely you meant that the nitrate was less than 20.:) If so, everything sounds great! Congratulations!
I'd recommend a nice school of the smaller corydoras like C. habrosus. They are always busy looking for tidbits on the bottom. They are social and love to be in groups. Get at least 6 of them, if that's what you decide to do.

That's OK, it happens a lot. I know nothing about the product Cycle, so I think you should wait for more advice before stocking. I know you don't want to invest in fish, only to have them die. Good luck!!!

Thank you! I was starting to get impatient.. but when i checked the water today with a test kit i bought at PetSmart (about $29-ish dollars), i was ecstatic that the ammonia had gone down and i think its really close to gettin it stocked.
I shall look into those! thanks :D

Its been about two weeks, so you probably already stocked it....
The only bottom dwellers I've stocked in my 10 gallon endler tank have been otos (otocinclus) and pygmy cories. The otos did alright, but the cories starved after about two months of wasting away. They just couldnt compete with my very very aggressively feeding endlers.
And regarding small bottom dwellers... it depends what you want. An algae eater? A goby? There's a lot of option. Just dont run out and get a pleco or 10 cories or anything, since all would outgrow the tank.
But anywho, what did you end up buying?

Ideally ottos need a mature tank as they much prefer to feed on green algae as opposed to food waste, and so are not really ideal as a clean up crew. in my angel tank i have some small kuhlis that never seem to stop.

I've never seen a fish eat waste...I prefer snails/shrimp or pygmy cory species for 10 gallons.
