Yeah he definitely still has some growing to do.

My male jag is a terror when I'm cleaning out his tank. He loves to bite me. Sometimes I have to get my wife to distract him while I clean the tank.

A bite from him would not be good...

just a stupid question how is that kind of fish relaxing to have in your house?
my tanks are a relaxation, if i seen that everyday i'd be aggravated all the time just like them,..?

to me its like having a dog the is always biting without reason,..

i guess its a personal choice, but i like peacefulness in my tanks but nice fish anyway,..

To each their own I guess. Some of us like myself have been keeping fish for 20+ years. For some of us "Pretty" schooling fish get boring after a while and you want a new challenge. If you have never kept a big, intelligent fish before like a cichlid than you're really missing out.

As stated it's all personal preference. I've had barbs and killiefish and other "pretty" fish before but they have no personality. They are interesting to look at but not much changes from day to day.

With big cichlids you never know what you will get the next day. They can be just like people, they pout, get mad, come to the front of the tank when you come in the room, etc. I just prefer the interaction.

I've had dwarf puffers for years, they are they same very social to us, here outside the tank.
