Until the management is able to impliment an official AC Chat room, I decided we should have something....so here it is...an unofficial AC Chat...all are welcome...and lets hop it gets them going on building a new one officially!

That little chat program seems to work just fine, and the text is very easy to read -- I'm about 4' from my screen and no problem..
Refresh is fast.
Colors are good.

I'll be stopping by at about 10 eastern, hope the party isn't over by then!

So is it worth keeping up?
in the past two weeks the room has been used twice....and half the talk in the last session was about how lousy the script was...so unloess you WANT it I will likely take it down...and if the script is really that distasteful I have new ones that run faster that can be implimented but i do need to know if it is worth the trouble....

Keep it up, its cool. More people would use it if there were set times, like, every monday, wednesday, and friday at 8:00 p.m. (east) there would be a chat, something like that. That way, you would know for sure when people were on.
I agree with NJDF. Keep it going Tom and I will be there when I can on Mon, Wed & Fri at 8Pm EST.

I dont have a problem keeping it open if it is wanted...just seemed not to be used is all...
a note to Mark...I have invited them over my way too, but the users here want a chat they can call their own, and until Mike gets aroudn to implimenting it I offered up this...it is their room, just not hosted here. Although I will verify that AquaChat is a decent chat as I think mine is....
But I understand their desire for somethign that is theirs.
as to the script...I will likely impliment a new one today or tomorrow to see if it is easier to use and quicker...to satisfy more.

I see a pretty major flaw in the system. I could sign in as say Reefscape or Corax and impersonate them, start some trouble, and nothing is in place to prevent that. Not that I would do that, but I'm sure there are people around that would.
I won't be using the chat system I don't think, so if anyone sees me on there it's not actually me.

I did that once, on accident just to see what every button in there did and I won't do it again because thats kind of a privacy issue which I'm not sure we should have the rights too. But then again, I dont recommend typing anything personal in chats anyway so it doesn't have much effect on myself. ;)

its a whole new system....the old one is still there but not for long. This new one offers far more potential and will become very familiar. Its not pretty yet...maybe wont be...but its a decent chat system....give it a chance and try it out.

doll it looks totally different on this side for some reason ...there is no line of little people to choose from, the screens are different, it askes for a password and the chat inside is way sleeker

I pulled this chat down...since the new chat is in place here theres no sense keeping this.
was a good run, although not used much....
Hope the new room goes better.
