my boyfriend showed up randomly at my house with a halfmoon betta male from petco and a large thing of fish food for my angelfish

i knew it was something to do with animals.
he called me ahead of time asking if he could drop a few things off at my house. i was like.... What is it?!?! and he wouldnt tell me.

What type of halfmoon is he?
Can you believe my boyfriend found him at petco?!?
