Hello,

I was cleaning the glass of my aquarium today during a water change. As I moved to the other side of the tank, I noticed this gooey snot ball hanging from the very top of the glass and then I realized that one of my Mystery snails layed eggs!

Since it was literally hanging on by a string too far down, as the water level rose it broke off and fell into the water. I immediately got it out.

Now I have absolutely no idea how to put it back. It's not like it's 'sticky' enough to be put back, but obviously it needs humidity.

Please tell me what to do and how? Anyone had this happen to them before?

Here is a photo of it before I put the water back in and before it obviously fell.

Thanks,
Jess.

There's really no way to put it back where it was try floating it on top of the water on a sponge.
