A thread just opened up. The OP is Arakkas (spelling?) And he is selling many crabs, including these.

I found this site online once while looking for places in PA that carried FW shrimp. I don't know anything about them, but they have vampires listed in thier stock. I also sent them an email, informing them of interest on AC, and inviting them to join. They have some very unusual species, so I hope they do! :)

I think Thatpetplace and Drs F&S are selling them. If I remember correctly, the latter had the most insane price on them.

Well if they're $70, they gotta be some kind of super vampire shrimp which make them completely worth it. :)

And to Blazing, $10 is an awesome price, but I probably won't be going to NYC for almost a year. Dang, If your ever at the store and you see them and wanna pick one up to send to me, i'd pay for everything and a little extra lol.

Yes, they're a very unique one that reminds you everyday how stupid you are for paying $70 for a Vampire shrimp. :)

vampie, i think it is Win... by mott st right... or was it mulberry lol. although the store carries it, i've always seen the shrimps in pretty bad condition. i've only seen one being stocked at a time. when i first saw it, i was really hesitant to buy a $10 shrimp in poor condition... but i knew was rare so i risked it. now i've had it for about 4 yrs and im glad i rescued it.

Win's the store on the street that has another store at the corner, with the two other stores on the streets on either side of it. That should clear things up. :evil_lol:
They had a lot last year under the name of "Blue shrimp", I think it was either $6 or $8 each.
