Where do you guys buy plants from online?

I assume it must be cheaper than a lfs.


Also, I'm looking for something that'll create a grass-like effect on the bottom of my tank. So something grasslike in appearance and that doesn't grow too tall, what would fit that bill? I want a pretty good portion of the bottom of my tank covered, if that helps narrow it down.
 
best bet is right here. most people work out good prices to start with and some will make package deals if you ask.
 
Whenever I buy plants, I typically buy them here or other online forums.

I've got some great LFS, so occassionaly I'll buy there when they've got the hard to find species.

And finally, look around for a local plant club. They'll often have auctions or outright swaps where you'll end up with more plants than you can deal with.
 
buy from the forums here....the prices are insanely low! and the product is amazing!!!!

i found a LFS (not really so local) that has some decent stock very clean algae free tanks well labeled plants etc....so i will on occasion (aka once) buy some things from them.
 
Yup I buy all my plants from other members here. I have gotten some great quality plants for outrageous prices. Not to mention have met some nice and very informative people too!
 
AC is a great place to buy plants. Great quality and great prices. People on here care about their plants unlike the lfs.
 
Mgamer has awesome plants, and the prices are sooo right. The shipping is extremely reasonable.
 
Another vote for the forums here. :) Awesome prices, way better than my lfs, and I know that what I get will be identified correctly. ;) Bought some plants from mgamer, more in the mail from customdrum!

Seriously, if you post a WTB ad, I betcha anything you want, someone here will have.

ETA: I'm pretty sure customdrum has some microsword for sale still, sounds like that might be what you're looking for?
