Hi guys im new to the site so go easy on me:). I currently have a 500 litre SA setup currently housing 4 3 inch angels, also a pair of bristlenose plecs in there. Loads of bogwood and plants, plenty of light, temp is 26degrees and running an fx5 external. Water parameters are all fine and ph is 6.8.
I'm looking to find out what the ideal tankmates would be for my tank, must be SA with minimum aggresion. Cheers and talk to you all soon Steven:help:

White clouds, congo tetras, ember tetras for smaller mates / Blue Rams & Discus seem to get along swimmingly with angels! :) - JMO's

Thanks BoCoMo, does my setup sound ok, i've never been a fan of Discus, actually i don't know why, i suppose its there price tag here in Ireland. Discus can cost in US dollars anything from 70dollars for a juvenile to 200dollars for a healthy adult.
Going to do a bit of research on congo tetras.

no on white clouds they are a cool water species. and be mindful of congos as they may nip fins on angels.
I like Black Neons or Cardinal tetras with angels but watch that and with other small tetras.
. angels sometimes find cardinals as tasty snacks..
Angels will pair well with Rams. and can tolerate temps to 28c
discus can be hit and miss with Angels as Angels tend to be aggressive feeders(I keep angels with Discus no issues just thought to warn you )

Cheers guys some fantastic advice there, i did a bit of research on congo tetra's and they have a bit of a reputation for nipping, on the other hand black neons look fantastic and would really suit my setup, my LFS here in Dublin has some healthly looking ones with a price tag of 10 for 25euro which is about 20us dollars. How would 10 go for starters?

I vote diamond tetras. They are just lovely and totally ignore my kribs, plecos, guppies, etc. Well, they might pick off some fry, but no aggression otherwise.

I have an Angel with a school of Neon Tetras and they do just fine... Cardinal Tetras and Black Neons would also look really cool!
