I'm having to get rid of my Oscar, he seems really unhappy in my tank. I believe it's because of my low ph of 6.7-6.8. He's moping around, and he's not eating very ''aggresively'' like he used to.
I'd like to let him go to a home where he'll be happier. I've tried everything, but my ph stays in the 6.7-6.8 range.
My Pacu is perfectly normal, though, and nothing's wrong with the water. The Pacu (and my pleco) are more active with the low ph, but the Oscar seriously don't like it.....Ever since Mr. Oscar became all mopey, the Pacu's actually gotten a lot more dominant. . . Anyways.
He really is a cool little guy. (When he's not being pouty.) :)
I'm /near/ Charlotte, NC.
(These pictures are about 1.5 months old. He's gotten a lot larger and black-er since they were taken.)
