Snails-a-go-go

Hi. My name is Spark. I have had 4 snails for about a month now and I can't say it's been smooth sailing lol. Being a beginner at all of this stuff, I bought fish medicine for my fishes white spot and unfortunatley made the mistake of putting it in the tank with the snails. I had no idea that it would make them SHRIVEL AND ALMOST DIE. Thankyou pet-shop-lady. Btw, I did ask the lady that sold me the stuff if it would do anything to the snails and she said no. Which wasn't entirely helpful especially because I went back the next day and her colleague said she should have known.. anyway!

The main reason I am posting this thread is to get some advice and some help with my snails because, well, I honestly have no idea. I would love to breed them, keep their longevity and I'm scared I might actually kill them next time I take somebodies word as the god given truth.

Here, have a picture :)

I want to know if they're healthy. And if not, what do I do? What are they supposed to look like? and just to be sure, can anyone tell me what type of snail they are? I think they're apple/mystery snails.
And yes, I do have them living in quite a small bowl that only holds about 1.5 litres of water, this only happened today and I am planning on finding something bigger by tonight but I had another problem with them. I bought a black moore. He tried to eat my snails. He's been trying for a while, and a few of them have lost a few tentacle thingies so my snails were constantly hiding in their shells. I read somewhere on the googling that they may die of starvation if they spend their entire lives hiding from the fish so that, coupled with quite a vicious attack I watched my black moore perform on one of them this morning is the reason that they are in the bowl. I thought putting some of their enviroment with them would make them happy, and they spent a few hours in the sun today which I'm not sure could have been harmful or not but they seemed very active and happy so I let them be for a while.

They are inside now.

Also, another thing I have been wondering about is, if you can see in the pictures, next to one of the snails is a very small white shell. It seems novelty. I'm thinking that either a) the snails bred in the tank without me noticing and the babies somehow died or b) they are novelty and they came with the gravel.

I'm also interested in breeding those 4. But moreso i am interested in those 4's longevity. And if anyone has any tips on how to get them to grow big that would be great.

I can't remember if I missed anything out, sorry for the long read. i do have a tendancy to ramble sometimes.
Any help you can give would be fantastic and much appreciated by snails and owner :)
