Blood parrots and red devils?

Heya all,
would a red devil be a suitable tank mate for a blood parrot?.
I was just thinking as many books i read say the blood parrot shouldn't be kept with overly-agressive tank mates, but many people have reported breeding the two. So they must be suitable.. right?.
 
I'd take a relatively uneducated guess and say hell no... But your question would be better off in the cichlid forum.
 
The red devils I had for a short period of time (they came with a tank I bought), according to the previous owner - killed everything! I don't think breeders as a whole have them together. I think when someone breeds parrots and devils, they put them in a breeding tank when they are ready to spawn and separate afterward. Just my opinion.
