So I have this biowheel thats hooked up to my magnum 350 can filter and it stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I have cleaned out all of the tubes and made sure nothing is wrong with the biowheel itself, water still runs through it fine so there isnt any blockage. I looked at the trouble shooting section of the manual the filter came with but I have tried all of the suggestions and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me?

try spraying with kitchen hose if you have enough pressure and blast out some of the junk, inside and out and perhaps some minerals are in the holders of the wheels itself or perhaps the flow itself is just a bit slower and not turning it as fast have you cleaned the canister itself? and use a toothpick to clean the holes out of spray bar too.

i take my bio wheels when they refuse to spin anymore put them in a large bucket of tank water and swoosh them really hard under the water and get all the junk that collects inside them and then put them back in the bio wheel and they spin fine. i dont have to do this very often and it just takes a few minutes at most.
