heres the deal i have white spots on the fins of one mollie they are about the size of the thickness of a lollypop stick, i would say bigger than a grain of salt, was wondering what this was.
the tank is still cycling with too many fish here are the readings

amonia 0.0
nitrite around 2
nitrAte 25 give or take

the tank is a 20g high with 4 mollies and 4 red eye tetra no real plants.

thanks for the help

Probably ich. I'd use meds and salt and a temperature rise to about 84 F. Another thing I'd get is real plants as they make the cycling SO much easier. It's like this. The fish produces ammonia, the bacterias(which you don't have enough of yet, but really need) use the ammonia and turns it into nitrite. The plants use the nitrite and makes O2 and nitrate. The nitrate level is controlled by water changes. You said that your nitrite level was 2?That's way too high. It should be at about 0,3. And your nitrate level is at max. Get some real plants. It's better looking and good for your tank.
