YES!!! I got the part of Deborah Sampson! I had to audition for it singing "Yankee Doodle". "Walk through the American Revolution" (the 5th grade play) is on May 18. All I had to wear is a blue coat, white capris, and a black hat. Deborah Sampson was actually married to Benjamin Gannet (i think) and guess who auditioned for it... JIMMY! THE GUY I HAVE A CRUSH ON!) OMGEEE!!!!!! My lines are: "At the age of 19, I dressed myself up as a soldier named "Robert" to fight in the Colonial Army. I was wounded twice, but no one found out I was a woman. When I became sick with a fever, my secret was revealed. I was given a n honorable dischrge at the age of 23."
