I have a tank with both Amano shrimp and Pygmy cories and they don't pay any attention each other at all. Even when they are trying to eat the same morsel of food.
I doubt any cory species will/can eat shrimp, mainly because the shrimp (adults and shrimplets alike) are very fast at escaping hairy situations and move quicker than cories can.
I had two in my 55 that I also sold, didn't want to take chances with shrimplets getting picked off left and right. But like saram said most shrimp have a knack for evading mouths. If you don't mind the possibility of maybe losing a few shrimplets I'd say keep them.
I think that combo would work out great!! the pygmy's are fast though, don't under estimate them! I used to have 6 in with a bunch of albino cories, and the pygmy's could out run the albinos!! Anyway I think they would look really cute together!!
