ok so i got an ich

i want to try the temp raise and salt treatment but am unsure about how much salt to use and i assume i use aquarium salt not table correct

For medicinal purposes, table salt is fine. I treat with 1 tablespoon per gallon--dissolve 1 tablespoon into a pint of tank water, then add in. Repeat hourly/half hour as needed to get to the needed amount. So, for a 10 gallon tank, you would need 5-8 hours to get the salt added in.
