I have 2 and they get along just fine with my 2 German Blue Rams...they are peaceful. Not sure if I have a male and female. How do you sex them?

How big are they? This is a picture of one of mine....see how bright the color is. It maybe just the picture though.
They are just a little under 2 inches and they both have a black dot on the body and red tips on the tails and fins. Yes, the last pictures does no justice to their color. The top picture is exactly what they both look like.
The easiest way to sex them is to check their dorsal fins. Males have a very extended 3 dorsal ray and females have a more rounded dorsal. However, sometimes it is really hard to tell until they spawn.
