discus breeding patterns

I have 6 discus in a 90gal.Two have paired up a nd there laying eggs every 2 weeks.The eggs last only 2 days or so and then they get eatin by the male.Is this normal?I really dont want to start breeding discus now.I just want to have the fish.Is this not stressful on the female?

It is normal for the fish to eat the eggs at the beginning. After a few tries they will learn better how to keep the eggs and fry. The eggs will also get eaten if they are unfertilized. Unfertilized eggs will turn white.
