Even the fish people say cannot tolerate salt (such as cory or loaches) are just fine with the amounts used during ich treatment.

ok :) I didnt want to kill them. I have 2 skunk corys in my husbands tank....

It is less stressful on the fish than the ich medications. You shouldn't have any problems doing the salt/heat treatment.

Just make sure you dilute the salt before adding to the tank.
