As some of you may know, my CO2 system is rather inefficient due to my wet/dry filter. I had an extremely high bubble count and thus, my 10lb tank was emptied after less than 2 months. I came home today to an empty tank, but there is no noticeable consequences. All fish seem normal and plants look fine. I guess I'll get it refilled tomorrow. Do you suppose this is because of the large size of my tank (300)? Thanks.

Perhaps, but I run a 240G wet/dry heavily planted @ 6 bubbles/second, and my 10lb tank last for 5-6 months. Is the system automated (i.e., do you have a pH Monitor running the "on" time for the tank)?

BTW, you can make your w/d filter a LOT more co2 friendly. I'd start with the overflow, and work your way down the system to the bioballs.
