We have two angel fish in the tank, I just noticed that the larger of the two (the tank bully) has lost the long filaments that stretch from his pectoral fins. He's swimming fine, eating fine and doesn't appear to be in any stress. What causes this?
We'll test the water in a bit, it's tank cleaning day, but the tank has been stable since May 2008 with:
pH: 7.2
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: ranging 7-10 ppm
My signature lists the inhabitants, I've never seen anyone picking at this guy...he's usually the one doing the picking, to be honest.
Suggestions?
