I'm still having problems with ich. I turned thye temperature up to 82 F for two weeks, treated with maracide, and did water changes. There are only a couple on my Oscar and none on my JD. Since the ich doesn't look like it is seriously attacking my fish, can his immune system fight it off?

One of the tricky things about ich is that one of its primary infestation sites is the gills, where you can't see it. So I don't want to make any ironclad guarantees.
However, since you have been treating for two weeks and the outside infestation is greatly reduced, you can certainly experiment with stopping treatment and seeing if it returns or not. It wouldn't hurt to keep up with the water changes and thorough gravel vacuuming during this period, as that will physically remove many of the parasites and thus further reduce stress on your fish.
If it does come back, then I would recommend using Quick Cure (a malachite green/formaldehyde mix) as your next treatment, as the combo effect of these two medicines makes it extremely effective against ich.
Good luck.
