We purchased about 15 pounds of Bali Cultured Live Rock today from our LFS. There are several things growing on it, which is to be expected. We're having trouble ID-ing a few things though. If you could help us to ID the pinkish orange stuff & the green stuff right next to it that would be great. The pinkish orange stuff really flows as the current passes through it. I'm just hoping these are good things & not bad things that will cause issues with our tank. Any help would be great. Thanks :)

My best guess would be some pissed off xenias and some seaweed/plant.

Looks like xenia to me also and the green looks like grape caluerpa and it can take over very fast so I would try to get as much of it out ASAP

There's also some type of zoanthid (zoa) or palythoa (paly) on the right side of the rock.

Yup, the xenia, while some consider a pest, are fine in the beginning. The grape caluerpa and aiptasia anemone right above it should be removed.

yea man nice live rock you got there... 30 xenia and some zoanthid (zoa) .. not a bad pick up... u need to get ride of the green caluerpa not good for your tank sub yes... not tank... and i had the same aiptasia in my tank. get some peppermint shrimp and it will be gone in a night :thm:
