Well my first load of fry are here (Aulonocara Baenschi) . I happen to look in the Tank and noticed some real small fry. I counted 20 but it is hard to tell the actual # right now with rocks, plants, etc. but I do see some small heads poke out every now and then. I have them in a 29 Gal :D

Congrats, I jsut found my female ruby red holding a few days ago.Hopefully she will hold to term this time.
Are they in the 29g by themselves? because if you plan to save them they need to be taken from the parents or they will be eaten.

The parents are in a 72 gal, they have the 29 gal to themselves. :D Good luck with the Ruby reds !!

This must be the fry time.
Right now, I have three socolofi and 9 saulosi one-inchers in a 10G tank. In a show box which acts like nursery, I have 10 two-days old electric yellow and 12 one-day old socolofi's.
Next week my other saulosi will deliver and the following week my lady johanni. By early December there will be 50 fries.
I will enjoy them. :) However, How can I place them all! :( :)

Tell me about it, my "Ruby Greens" appear ready to go, The females vent is opened alot more than usual looks like they should go real soon.
