Name: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Genre: Shooting
System: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, DS
Rating (out of 10 stars): 9.5
Pro's:Overall the best game I've ever played. This game has amazingly addicting online play, I have logged many many hours playing with my friends online. Its high level of customization is good, because it allows every player to be completely outfitted to their liking. There is a great amount of ranking, whcih persuades players to play more and to get to a higher rank. And the requirements for some of the challenges take such a long time, it really keeps players coming back for more. Graphincs are amazing and smooth as is the gameplay. All controls are easy, and well timed.
Con's: The only thing I could possibly say that is bad about this game is the campaign. Although the actual campaign is great, it just seems to end to fast. Also alot of times you are in situations that are completely unrealistic unless you play the hardest difficulty (like me).

Pro's: LOL it's the first game where sometimes you have to play with your booty, using the wii balance board. It is sooo much harder than you might think. Oh, and there's pimp my rabbid. LOL! It's just so goofy and amazing. At first you think "man this is dumb" but it's really addictive and sooo funny.
Con's: Well, it can be a bit crude and such, so it's not really for kids.

I just beat "World at War" tonight, lol! I've had since Christmas but really haven't had the time to play it much. It was a pretty good FPS but I like Modern Warfare better.

Name: Resident Evil 5
Genre: Horror, Survival, Shooting
System: PS3, Xbox 360, possbile others?
Rating (out of 10 stars): ehh 8
Pro's: OVerall a great game. The much expected game in the genre brought us to Africa to fight the common place zombies. They did a wonderful job, of making the deserts and remove villages of Africa scare the crap out of you. Very fast paced, graphics are amazing, I feel like I'm playing in a movie. Good Physic engines, good puzzles.
Con's: Overwhelming boss fights. This game is about conserving ammo, which is really hard to do when you have a boss fight every level (levels take approximately 15 min). The controls are a little wonky. The joystick is super sensitive, so if you try to sprint, if you let up even a little bit, he stops. This can become really annoying when your trying to run away from hordes of zombies thirsty for your flesh. I dont like the aiming system either, it encorporates a lazer on the end of the gun, but in africa (extremely bright) you cannot see the end of the lazer, so you really have no clue where your shooting. Also, if you want to melee, you have to do a two button sequence, which gets really annoying.

Pong was a great game!

Genre:Sports
System:PS2 but its also on PS3,XBOX360
Rating (out of 10 stars):8 out of 10
Pro's: Tons of teams to play with,good graphics, lots of options for gameplay
Con's:Playing vs computer is to easy unless you go to the upper echelons of difficulty, to many celebrations in online play that get you penalized. Only way to stop it is to pause and you only get 3 per half.

Pro's:hours of quests lots of land to explore, theres not much that cant be said about this game, ive never spent more time on a game before
Con's:load times are a bit of a killer, and some of the quests are a bit of a drag (cough cough, the main story quests) but the seperate factions and groups you can join are alot more fun to advance through.

Genre:RPG/MMORP
System:PC
Rating (out of 10 stars): 9
Pros: Beautiful graphics, lots of quests and places to roam, can accept/decline duels with other players, legions and group play are fun but there's also lots to do if you want to play solo, 2 opposing factions and 8 job types to choose from (4 base types that can each go 2 different ways at a higher level), and you can fly.
Cons: Running long distances between quest objects can get tedious, some quests are hard to complete solo, new game so there's fair amount of spammers in populated areas that the company hasn't managed to counter-act yet, monthly fee to play

Name: Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World
Genre:RPG/adventure
System:Wii
Rating (out of 10 stars):10
Pros: Lots of questing and fighting, interesting storyline, tons of puns and humor in unexpected places, one of my favorites
Cons: Kind of Pokemon-esque at times...you can acquire/evolve creatures to fight with you, useful when NPC members of your party take off and you need the extra man power but didn't really have much to do with the story so it was kind of different.

Genre: RPG/Fantasy

Pro's: Very fun game from the beginning, very long and enjoyable quest lines and very in depth story line. Game can be played through any way possible and never finishes the same. Unique combat system with very cool slow mo finishing moves.
Con's: Very ciolent. Not a problem for me, but for younger audience this can be a problem. Especially since this game was made for adults, not children.

Name: Modern Warfare 2
Genre: FPS
System: PC/XBOX260/PS3
Rating (out of 10 stars): 9.0/10
Pro's: Continues the story line with lots of plot twist and new weapons. Slowmo room breaches are AWESOME along with the ending (not spoiling it since I finished it in 4 hours)
Con's: Multiplayer is not as fun as MW1. To many perks, to many weapons, people being tards as always. (Thats why it lost the extra point, on PC platform this game gets a 7/10 due to IW not caring about PC players getting the shaft.)

Pro's: Amazing graphics and detail, unique combat system. Lots of customization on charectors. PVPVE is fun :)
Con's: THE GRIND STINKS!

Name: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Genre: FPS/RTS
System: PC/XBOX360
Rating (out of 10 stars): 8/10
Pro's: HUGE MAP! Lots of weapons and vehicles, mission flexability.
Con's: Friendly AI is dumb, Enemy AI is to smart. Lots of bugs in AI in general (Random helicopters will fly into you, wtf?)

Name: Killing Floor
Genre: Co-Op Survival/Horror FPS
System: PC
Rating (out of 10 stars): 9.9/10
Pro's: Very fun game, lots fo maps, since the new update there are a lot more weapons, great game even when it was a free game developed by someone before being sold to steam.
Con's: Some maps get old quick, wave based enemy game.

Pro's: This game is inexpensive at only $20, however you can play for FREE as long as you want to. You don't get access to all the planes in the free version, but the 2 you get are plenty powerful, and can hold their own in a dog-fight. Lots of modes including: Base Defense, Ball, death match and team death match. User customizable maps. Just go download it and try it, you have nothing to risk, except getting addicted like I am!!!
The graphics are also clean, simple and well stylized.
Con's: The only con is that you are reading this, and not playing right now!

I really do like this game, and you really should try it. It is fun, simple and programed by 2 guys in their garage!

Enjoy, I sure do.

PS - You can even play on your laptop, I do sometimes. The only problem is I miss my full keyboard, but the game plays great.

Small update on MW2 multiplayer:

They really made it easy to level up on multiplayer and takes less time to get weapon perks and other perks in general. A lot of the weapons are pretty overpowered seeing as how there are more upgrades to bullet damage and larger hit boxes on players now. Shields are just to evil, but really fun (4k exp normal and another 10k bonus with just shield alone)

No game beats Civilization (I, II, III, or IV).

The closest is Football Manager series (verbosely called "World Championship Soccer Manager" in the US).

Those two games can easily eat up hours of my day... night... the next day... the next night... the next day... the next night...the next day... the next night...the next day... the next night...what day is it? what year is it? Oh my God- when did my newborn become a teenager?

He- what... graduated high-school whilst I was conquering the world... did I really spend that long on the computer?

Pro's: 5 campaigns with dynamic effects. Variety of weapons including, Cricket bats, Chainsaws, Machine Guns, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Grenade Launchers and more! Variety of Zombies and infected. No need to save your progress, You can pick up and play, start from any level. Very user friendly. Multiplayer game modes, including Co-op, versus, scavenge, survival. And the possibility that you may play with me.
Con's: Sometimes it gets a little too dark, and the possibility that you may play with me.

Pro's: Hmm where to start, What other game can you play for 4 years and still be fun every time your on it. I love Wow and have had my share of wife agro from it. But it is well worth the escape from reality. I even met my Real estate Broker on WOW!!!!
Cons: I guess you could say the addictiveness that it does to you. And maybe the monthly fee, the thing with that is it is always being updated.

Pro's: Very fun and easy enough to keep me from quiting! Haha story is just like a movie even my wife watched me play it.
Cons: Sometimes you do spend alittle to much time looking for the next place to go.
