I randomly found a local trying to unload a 5.5gal, so now my betta has a home all his own! This leaves my 2 corys and ghost shrimp with room for more friends! Any suggestions now that I don't have to compensate for a "cranky" betta?

cool plenty of small fish out there like ember tetras or small rainbows rasboras tetras danios

Cool! Congrats on the new betta tank. I always recommend Harlequin Rasboras for 10gal but you have quite a few choices of small fish.

I have 4 cories (two albino, to emerald), 5 ghost shrimps, and a gourami in a tank. I also had serpae tetras in there for a while. you might want some mid tank or surface dwellers.

Add 24 Chili Rasboras. They will school well and fit just fine in a 10 gallon. It is fun to watch them dart an inch here or there as a group.
