I have an 18g with one red clawed crab...
Can i introduce another crab?
or will they fight?
would the lone crab be happy on his own?

Is there places for them to get out? And do you have fresh water or brackish water? They need brackish water to thrive otherwise they just kinda fade away and die. I have had 4 in a 20 gallon and everyone got along fine as long as they had their own perches. I have also been told since then that they need about a square foot of territory per crab. So I would say yes to a buddy. You might want to get the opposite sex if possible so you won't get as much conflict over territory.

The old brackish water arguement...
I have kept mine in freshwater for 6 months, hes thriving, feeding, molting with attitude, lets not deflect from the fact these crabs breed in freshwater and adapt to do so in the wild...!
Any how... i have slate and driftwood in the tank...perches i assume u mean different land options.... i only have 2 perches...
But thank you

depends on the temperment of the crab..
