Rainbow cichlids and...

adult rummynose tetras?

I'm being forced to tear down some of my tanks and I'd really hate to give away my rainbow pair but the only tank that's big enough for them is my 40. Do you guys think the rainbows will have expensive snacks?

Not likely unless the tetras are quite small. Cichlids generally tend to ignore tetras too large to eat, may actually like them as dithers.
