I seen this listed sunday on craigslist so I jumped on it and went picked it up. It is 6 months old used for 3 months he said and he had all new hoses for it and new fresh media. I looks brand new and works great I think I got a great bargain. Sometimes you can get some good deals on craigslist here locally. Anyone else use this Toms wet/dry filter unit?

yes its a wet/dry filter i needed 1 more for a aquarium i set up i dont use the skimmer part since its a freshwater tank and dont need that. and yes i always make sure a filter or anything aquarium related i pick up on craigslist works and has all the parts if not by the time you buy the missing parts its not such a good deal any longer.

I've been wondering if that could be used for a CO2 Reactor.

But I wasn't going to buy a skimmer, just to find out.

Is there any possibility of that happening?
