the oto cats in my tank did a good job on my alege, prehap too good.....now with the alege is running out i start to worry they might eventually have food shortage and die. beside turn on the light 24/7 to grow alege can i feed them cucumber or spinach? Most of all....will they eat it?

yeah my otos eat anything i feed my fish. usually i feed them algae wafers along with the algae that is growing on the back of my tank.

I agree, along with the veggie treats, you can also buy algae wafers for bottom feeders. They seem to provide what the bottom feeders need along with crumbs that may fall during regular feeding of your other inhabitants.
